Gym Rules & Waiver

These rules keep the floor safe and usable for everyone. They form part of your membership agreement with [LEGAL ENTITY NAME] (Shaper's Stop Gym) and apply to members, guests and visitors on the premises at 2nd Floor, Lokpida Complex, Love Garden Road, Bhilwara, Rajasthan.
1. Assumption of risk
Physical exercise carries inherent risk, including muscle strain, sprain, fracture, cardiac events and, in rare cases, serious injury or death. By using the facility you acknowledge these risks and confirm that you are participating voluntarily and at your own risk.
You confirm that you have disclosed all relevant medical information and that you have been advised to obtain clearance from a registered physician before beginning any exercise programme. This acknowledgement does not remove our responsibility to maintain the premises and equipment in reasonable condition, or our liability for proven negligence.
2. Induction and supervision
- New members must complete a floor induction before training unsupervised.
- Ask a trainer before using equipment you have not been shown.
- Use a spotter for heavy pressing and squatting movements. Staff will assist on request.
3. Equipment
- Return dumbbells, plates, bars and attachments to their racks after every set.
- Use collars on loaded barbells.
- Do not drop weights, except in designated areas using the equipment provided for it.
- Wipe down benches, pads and machines after use.
- Report any damaged or unsafe equipment to staff immediately and do not use it.
- During busy hours, share stations and limit rest between sets so others can work in.
4. Attire and hygiene
- Clean, closed, non-marking indoor training shoes are compulsory on the floor.
- Wear appropriate athletic clothing. Carry a towel.
- Outdoor footwear stays outside the training area.
- Do not train if you have a contagious illness, skin infection or open wound.
5. Conduct
- Treat every member, trainer and staff member with respect.
- Harassment, staring, unwanted approaches, abusive language, threats or discriminatory behaviour lead to immediate termination without refund and, where warranted, a police complaint.
- Do not photograph or record any other person without their clear permission. Changing rooms and washrooms are strictly no-camera zones.
- Keep phone calls and music at a volume that does not disturb others. Use headphones.
- Alcohol, tobacco, banned substances and performance-enhancing drugs are prohibited on the premises.
- Selling, promoting or coaching for personal gain on the premises requires our written permission.
6. Classes
- Arrive at least five minutes early. Entry may be refused after a class has begun, for safety.
- Book in advance where booking is required, and cancel if you cannot attend so the slot can be released.
- Follow the instructor's direction and tell them about any injury before the class starts.
7. Minors and guests
Members below 18 may train only with written guardian consent and within the age limits set for specific equipment and classes. Children who are not registered members are not permitted on the training floor at any time. Guests must register at reception, carry ID, and are subject to these same rules; the member who brings a guest is responsible for their conduct.
8. Lockers and belongings
Lockers are for use during your session only. Items left overnight may be removed and held at reception for [NUMBER] days before disposal. Do not leave valuables on the premises. We are not responsible for loss or theft of personal property except where caused by our proven negligence.
9. Medical emergencies and first aid
Tell staff immediately if you or another person feels unwell. Staff are trained in basic first aid and will arrange medical assistance where needed. You authorise us to obtain emergency medical treatment on your behalf if you are unable to consent, and you accept responsibility for the resulting medical costs.
10. Damage to property
Members are liable for the repair or replacement cost of equipment or property damaged through misuse, negligence or deliberate act.
11. Enforcement
Staff may ask any person to stop an unsafe activity or to leave the premises. Repeated or serious breaches may result in suspension or termination of membership without refund, as set out in the Terms & Conditions.
12. Acknowledgement
By registering as a member, entering the premises or using the facilities, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to these rules and to the assumption of risk described above. A signed copy of this acknowledgement is collected at registration and retained with your member record.
